Editorial policy

Our aim is to make home-design ideas clear, useful and proportionate. We explain what an article can establish, avoid presenting preference as fact, and correct meaningful errors openly.

Accuracy and clarity

We review wording, names and design terms for accuracy before publication. Where an article describes a general principle, we make clear that actual results depend on the room, its furnishings and the people using it. We do not imply that an example is a universal rule or a substitute for specialist advice.

Independence

Editorial decisions and conclusions are made for readers, not shaped by a commercial partner. When a subject has meaningful trade-offs, we aim to describe them fairly rather than treating one material, style or product type as automatically best.

Corrections

If a reader spots a factual error or unclear passage, they can contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We assess the report and correct substantial errors, making the change clear where appropriate.

Partnerships and illustrations

Paid, sponsored or partner material is identified clearly where it appears and is kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; those images are illustrative, not documentary evidence of a real home, product or project.
